Let's Make A Baby!

A youth activity to develop understanding of genetics and heredity.

About the Project

The "Let's Make a Baby!" project is designed to illustrate how variation occurs in a population through sexual reproduction.  Specifically, this activity asks students to examine their own face to identify the possible genes/alleles responsible for their features, then create a 'baby' by combining those alleles with a partner.
