Philosophy of Education | Curriculum Vitae
Neural Vortex is the professional site for Wyatt Wilcox, Ed.D.

For two decades, Dr. Wilcox has served students and led educators at highly respected international schools around the world.  His expertise in integrating technology to create highly effective classrooms and distance learning environments for international students was called upon by the European Commission Directorate-General for Education and Culture to assist Bulgaria as the country's leaders sought to develop a national IT program promoting life-long learning.  In 2012, following his experiences with the Egyptian Revolution, he received a fellowship to attend one of the US's premier public policy schools, the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.  While there, he completed studies in education policy and finance, economics, congressional processes, international policy, and public administration.  At the completion of his time at the Ford School, Dr. Wilcox served for a short while as an administrator and teacher near his hometown of Kennewick, Wa, before returning to the field of international education in 2014 when he and his wife accepted teaching positions at Singapore American School.   Dr. Wilcox currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Yongsan International School of Seoul.   In his spare time, he enjoys adventures with family, cycling, and hiking.  He has not owned a television since 2009.
